WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Thank you to everyone who signed petitions in early 2024 in support of the library. We came within one day of losing our former premises at 265 Chingford Mount Road in June of that year!

We left our former premises at the end of June 2026 and relocated to the site of the former launderette at 88 Old Church Road (the building with the mural on the side), and first reopened on the last Friday in July. We have been responsible for ALL our running costs since 1st July 2025. This  required us to generate an estimated annual amount of £65K to keep going at 265 Chingford Mount Road for the remainder of our time there. We  temporarily closed from September 20th for the fitting of the new external glass, but are now fully re-opened, with some minor snagging remaining. We are also responsible for some fitting out costs in our new location.
